Ancient Egypt, Late Period, 664-535 BC. Small faience amulet of Isis. The goddess is depicted seated, suckling the baby Horus. Ancient Egypt, Late Period, 664-535 BC. Nice faience amulet of Isis. The goddess is depicted seated, suckling the baby Horus. She wears the solar disc headdress. Great detail, some earthen encrustation which could probably be cleaned to reveal more detail. Missing top of headdress, otherwise intact. 20 mm (3/4"). Ex-J. Late Period Egypt, 664-535 BC. Grey serpentine amulet of a headrest. Used in the burial ritual by priests preparing the mummy to prop up the head. 16 mm (5/8") wide. #3893: $199


Late Period Egypt, 664-535 BC. Limestone amulet of a "plummet" or plumb-line; a tool made of a set-square with its junction at the top from which a cord hangs, ending in a weight. Perfectly preserved. 22 mm (7/8"). #3894: $150

Ptolemaic Egypt, 323-30 BC. Nice faience amulet of the falcon-god Horus. Depicted in standing form, with Egyptian kilt, hands straight down at sides. Missing headdress but otherwise excellent condition. Light green to blue to yellow color. 27 mm (1 1/16") tall. #3950: $250


Late Period Egypt, c. 664-535 BC. Large light blue faience amulet of the god Thoth, the Ibis-headed god. Shown standing, wearing Egyptian kilt, arms at side. Well preserved and mounted on a small base. Amulet itself is 1 5/8" (4.1 cm) tall. Ex-old English Collection. #1210052: $375
