Carthage, North Africa, c. 3rd-4th Century AD. Nice orange-ware terracotta lamp with leaping canine within the discus. The body is sharply carinated with long rounded spout and pinched handle, the shoulder decorated with a palm design, and the base with a palm frond within concentric circles, ridges toward the back and geometric designs before. 5" (12.7 cm).
