Great blue-green faience tile. With rear piercing on back for mounting in a central, raised area. They are frequently attributed to the Step Pyramid of Djoser and the surrounding complexes in Saqqara. Heiroglyphic indicator engraved on back to indicate where on the wall it should be placed. 58x37mm. Chipped in areas. Glaze a bit faded. Cf. F.
