One of the most amazing piece's I've had... a Medieval German gauntlet! Steel left-hand gauntlet / hand armor. Dates from c. 1580-1620 AD. Brightly-polished steel (light rust on the inside) with brass rivets. Missing all but the top knuckle of four of the fingers and thumb (held on by leather strips). Only slightly restored but the original parts are in fantastic condition. A great display-piece! Measures 10 1/2 x 6". #gauntlet1870: $899 SOLD
