Medieval France. Gothic period, 12th-13th century AD. Fantastic iron armor-piercing dagger. Simple, sleek form with a triangular-shaped blade made for penetrating between the rings of chain maille or at the joints of plate armor. This is exactly the form it would have originally had, without inlays or pommel grip. It was intended to be carried as a simple side-arm for close hand-to-hand combat. Extremely well-preserved! One of the most amazing piece's I've had... a Medieval German gauntlet! Steel left-hand gauntlet / hand armor. Dates from c. 1580-1620 AD. Brightly-polished steel (light rust on the inside) with brass rivets. Missing all but the top knuckle of four of the fingers and thumb (held on by leather strips).
