These are illuminated manuscript pages found with a group of handwritten Islamic Koran.
Each has Illuminated multicolored floral marginal medallions. Naskhi script in black ink within a 24K gold frame with gold discs between the verses. Vowels and diacritical signs are in black & red.

Black and red ink. Each has some marginal tears consistant with age and use. Otherwise in good antiquariat condition. Date not on this leaf but in another section of the manuscripts. CHECK FOR AVAILABILITY
Ancient Islamic Koran, copied 1101 AH / 1690 AD by Ibrahim Al Diyarbekir who was student of Ramazan Efendi. Each page measures around 140x95 mm (5 1/2 x 4 3/4 inches). $49.00 ea.
