The verses are written in black ink and the calligraphy is framed in red and copied with bold Arabic letters. Very clean piece considering the age. Illuminated manuscript pages found with a group of handwritten Islamic Koran. Some have Illuminated multicolored floral marginal medallions, Naskhi script in black ink within a 24K gold frame with gold discs between the verses. Vowels and diacritical signs are in black & red. Some marginal tears consistant with age and use. Otherwise in good antiquariat condition. Date not on this leaf but in another section of the manuscript.
