Gandharan. 6th century BC-- 11th century AD. Early Buddhist carving. Seated Buddha, cross-legged upon a lotus. Crafted in terracotts, shows some fire damage. Measures 46 mm (almost 2 inches) tall. $75.00 SOLD
Central Asia, c. 5 th – 6 th Century AD. A terracotta head from a figure with a large headdress resembling a turban and earrings. The style resembles some of the later Kushan or Gupta figures.
