Herod I "the Great. Bronze Prutah. Depicts: Two crossed cornucopiae / Anchor, Hebrew inscription reading "HWPOD".
Herod "the Great" is known for his initiating of the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem. He killed two of his own sons and murdered innocent children of Bethlehem due to his paranoia about Jesus birth.
