Directions to Gabriel Vandervort / Ancient Resource

On occasional Sundays, I run my ancient coins and artifacts booth at the Street Market, in Montrose, California. The Market begun as a harvest market, but over past years has grown to host vendors of books, antiques, and ancient artifacts (me), as well as food, family events, pony rides, and music.

The event goes on every Sunday, from 9 am until 2 pm, but I run my booth only once every few weeks. To know my weekly schedule, the best thing to do is sign up for my confidential e-mail list.

Directions to the Market:

From the 210 freeway (west or east):
Exit Ocean View Boulevard. Turn right if coming from the west, or left if coming from the east. Basically go downhill (you can't miss it). 2 blocks down you'll hit Honolulu Ave. The market is right there. For the best parking, go straight past Honolulu and take a left into the alley. A large parking lot with free Sunday parking will be on your right.

From the 2 freeway north:
Exit Verdugo boulevard. This is the very last exit of the 2 freeway, where it runs into the 210 freeway. Note: NOT Verdugo Road exit, which is between the 134 and 5 freeways, and the first you'll hit if you are coming north from the 5..

Anyway, exit Verdugo Bl, and take a left. at your second light, you will see the road closed ahead... this is the Market. To park: take a left here, and an immediate right into the parking lot between the Mexican restaurant and the lumber yard. If there are no spots here, keep driving through this lot into the next, much larger lot full of free parking.

Once you've parked in this lot, to find my booth:
Walk up Market Street (between the Dianetics center and the tanning salon) up to Honolulu.
Turn right and enjoy the Market! Just past the crosswalk you'll find my booth under the trees on the left side of the street, outside Black Cow Cafe.
Or, see the MAP: Map straight to my booth!
