Roman Africa, Carthage, c. 4th-5th century AD. A lot of 2 very nice red ware "discus" type lamps. Central medallions consist of a rosette design in high relief with linear border in one, the other with a four legged animal, perhaps a rabbit walking to left and semi-circular designs around.
Both about 4.5" long and in choice condition. Both Ex. David Pierson Collection. $175 each.
